Bring all your undead friends and dancing shoes to celebrate the upcoming release of Kenyon’s latest novel, At Death’s Door. There will be limited edition Paladin Swag only available at this event, along with other fun prizes and chances to win for best decorated Black Hat. Thu 7PM, Peachtree Ballroom (W).

The Dark Crystal Ball: Gathering of Gelflings
Before the darkening descends, we invite you to gather at the Center for Puppetry Arts for our final ball honoring Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal: World of Myth & Magic. Featuring celebrity guests, a costume contest, and more! Separate ticket purchase required. Thu 7PM, Center for Puppetry Arts.

Yesteryear Lagoon & Lounge
Splish-splash and dance the night away at our retro-themed tiki party! Wear your best lavalava, pin-up finery, mermaid fins, or pirate gear. In addition, there’ll be a photo booth, lavalava how-tos, limbo contest, and a pirate conga line at the end. Or just hop in the pool with our mermaids. Thu 8:30PM, Sheraton Pool and Courtyard.

End Game Neon Party
DRAGON CON ASSEMBLE!!! Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are throwing a Black Light Glow Party, and everyone is invited to attend. Come get down and get funky as we celebrate the victory over Thanos. Thu 9PM, Imperial Ballroom (M).

Bunny Hutch Party & Costume Contest
Unleash your inner playboy/girl in this geek-meets-chic Con kickoff party. Embrace your sexy side; come dressed as your version of a bunny or Hef. Be creative and mash it up with your favorite fandom. Enter the contest, or just enjoy the party. Mature Audiences Only, Thu 10PM, Grand Salon (Hil).

The 8-Bit Bash
The Video Gaming Track is back again this year with its Thursday night retro dance party, now with classic arcade cabinets! Enjoy classics from the ’80s and ’90s, and you won’t even have to put down a quarter for the next game. Costumes optional, but always welcome. 21+ event, ID required. Mature Audiences Only. Dragon Con’s Pin-ups by the Pool
Don your best poolside pin-up attire… there’s gonna be a pin-up competition! Register for the competition poolside 30 minutes before the party begins. Judges will be mixing and mingling in the fray, so don’t be a wallflower. Remember the judges love a nerdy twist to your pin-up creation! Fri 8:30PM, Sheraton Pool and Courtyard.

An Evening at Bree
The annual Tolkien celebration offers dancing and frivolity, plus a much-anticipated costuming contest and awards! Fri 8:30PM, Grand West (Hil).

K-Pop Dance Party!
Turn down the lights, kick on the strobe, crank up the volume, and party! Come show off your best moves to some of the best K-Pop songs. Get up and dance to your favorite grooves alongside hundreds of your fellow K-Pop fans! Fri 8:30PM, Imperial Ballroom (M).

Toon-Age Sock Hop
Hey, Daddy-O! Remember the Happy Days of Cartoons? Fluff out your poodle skirt and put a rockabilly twist on your fave animated cosplay. This Electro-Swing party will knock your socks off! Fri 8:30 PM, Grand East (Hil).

The Temporal Formal Dance, A Silver Screen Soiree
This year we are traveling to the height of glitz and glamour in Hollywood’s Golden Age. Dance to both classic ballroom numbers and the geekiest of dance-able themes from all eras. Formal attire strongly encouraged. Come as your favorite character in the most formal ensemble or dress to impress. Fri 10PM, International South (Hy).

Can’t Stop the Signal Dance
Aim to misbehave at the shiny 3rd Annual Can’t Stop the Signal Dance, celebrating Firefly and Serenity! Bring your dollars for charity and dance like no power in the ’Verse can stop you as DJ Phasim spins our shindig! Proceeds benefit the American Heart Association. Mature Audiences Only. Zombie Prom
The one night of Dragon Con when the decomposing horde reigns! Spend hours shimmying and shambling across the dance floor to the sounds of DJ D’Vinci, lurch into a prom photo, or possibly even be crowned Prom King or Queen. Fri 10PM, Grand Salon (Hil).


PKE Surge Cosplay Prom Class of 1984
Everybody Wang Chung the night away in your most elegant Ghostbuster uniform or any other formalwear or formal cosplay from the awesome ’80s. Sat 7PM, M103–105 (M).

PromWatch is back for its second year! PromWatch is a chance for you to have fun and dress as your favorite hero in formalwear like tuxedos and cocktail dresses. Go all out with gala wear or a simple black-tie look! All-ages event—to bring or partake in any alcohol, you must be 21+. Sat 7PM, Augusta A–B (W).

Bond & Cocktails: Shaken Not Stirred
Cocktail hour, James Bond style. Don your tuxedos and fancy dress for a cocktail hour filled with murder mystery and all things James Bond in celebration of 50 years of various films in the franchise. Mature Audiences Only. Sat 10PM, International South (Hy).

Ten Forward Party
DJ THX is your helmsman for a musical journey through time in the annual Trek Track dance party that brings you the best from the classics to today and beyond. Sat 10:00 PM, Imperial Ballroom (M).

The Heroes & Villains Ball
The Video Gaming Track invites you to Dragon Con’s biggest ball of all. The Heroes & Villains are back again. The Last Party on Alderaan
Dragon Con’s premiere house, EDM, pop, anything music dance party. You never know who might drop by, but you can bet the party will be jumping for hours. Let’s party like it’s the end of the world! Sat 10PM, Grand Salon (Hil).

The North Remembers How to Party
Join us for Dragon Con’s Game of Thrones–themed party, featuring music, dancing, costumes, and absolutely no beheadings. Sat 10PM, Grand East (Hil).

The Spectrum: A Rainbow Flag Party for LGBTQ Geeks & Allies
This party welcomes all of Dragon Con’s LGBTQ attendees to enjoy a party just for you. DJ Neon spins the beats and our go-go grrlz ‘n’ boyz dance for you in “The Twisted Adventures of Alice Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” a storybook-themed party. 21+ to party, must have valid photo ID to enter. Family-Friendly Dance
Luau-themed dance featuring Disney and pop songs. G-rated, alcohol-free event for kids 13 or younger. Running not allowed inside the ballroom. Yule Ball

5th Annual Doctor Who Ball
The best party this side of Raxacoricofallapatorius! We’ll rock on like an Axon late into the night. Dance to our returning DJ Black Sunshine’s tunes and stay for our Pageant of Rassilon Winner Announcements at midnight. Allons-y! Mature Audiences Only. Sun 10:00 PM, Grand Salon (Hil).

Costuming Track’s 15th Anniversary Birthday Party
Costuming Track is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a birthday bash where YOU are the guest of honor! Great music and door prizes. Must be 21+ to purchase alcohol. Sun 10PM, Regency VI–VII (Hy).

Mechanical Masquerade: Revolution!
The 8th annual Alternate & Historic Fiction Track party theme this year is “The Story of Tonight,” honoring revolutions through time: French, American, Industrial, or otherwise. Featuring DJs, costumed dancers, and overthrowing the aristocracy. Costumes and masks are encouraged (but not required). Sun 10PM, Grand Ballroom A–F (S).
