Thomas Dekker is one of the hottest young actors in Hollywood. Chosen as one of the five actors to watch in this year's Hollywood reporter, Thomas was also featured in the Young Hollywood Issues of Marie Claire and Nylon Magazine. As well, he was singled out and awarded by Hollywood Life Magazine as 'One to Watch.'

Thomas is currently shooting the lead role in Michael Bay's remake of NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET opposite Jackie Earle Haley for New Line Cinema and director Sam Bayer. With his starring role on Fox's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" and his recent film MY SISTER'S KEEPER from Warner Brothers and New Line Cinema, Dekker is quickly becoming a household name.

Dekker was last seen in seaston two of "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," playing the lead role of 'John Connor.' The show, which is set after the events of the film, follows a mother and her son as they run from the government and destructive forces from the future, which hunt them. The first and second season of the series premiered to number one ratings and season one was Fox's highest rated scripted debut in seven years.

Dekker can also be seen in MY SISTER'S KEEPER, starring opposite Cameron Diaz, Abigail Breslin and Alec Baldwin. The film is based on the best selling novel by Jodi Picoult wand directed by Nick Cassavetes. The drama follows a story of a young girl who sues her parents for the right to make her own decisions when a kidney transplant is planned in order to potentially save her older sister.

Dekker can also be seen as the lead role in the film, FROM WITHIN, which premiered at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival. The film was directed by Phedon Papamichael and focus on the residents of a small American town who begin to die one-by-one by apparent suicide. Dekker directed the 'behind the scenes' footage of the movie, which will appear as a short film on the DVD and EPK of FROM WITHIN.

Dekker wore multiple hats as writer, director, editor and co-star in the film WHORE alongside Megan Fox, Rumer Willis and Lena Headey. The film centers around a large group of teens living on the streets of Hollywood trying to make it in the movie business. This is the third film he has written, directed, and self produced.

Dekker's other credits include NBC's hit series, "Heroes" where he played 'Zach' the engaging best friend to cheerleader, 'Claire.' He also spent three seasons as a lead role in the Disney Series, "Honey I shrunk the Kids," which shot in Calgary, Canada.

Dekker has been working professionally in acting in both television and film since he was five years old, including a lead role in John Carpenter's "Village of the Damned."
