Eric, a semi-loser, is visited by his dead girlfriend, now an angel, and told that he is the chosen one, destined to save the world from the flames of hell. The next morning, as the world is being torn asunder, he heads to the site of a meteor crash where he finds a terrifying creature. A desperate conflict with not only angels and demons, but also with his own self-confidence takes him to a realization that he may not be ready to handle.
