Amy and Scott, an overly imaginative and husband and wife pair of would-be-writers, are living on the waning generosity of their wealthy parents. When they are cut off, they stumble on a desperate scheme to collect their inheritance early. As they toggle between colorful fantasies and hopeful delusions, their nephew, a brilliant kid with Asperger’s Syndrome, discovers their plan and shares it with his sister. The ineptitude of the adults is no match for the covert operations and fancy gadgetry of the kids.
