Three college friends hit the biggest party of the year, where a mysterious phenomenon disrupts the night, quickly descending into a chaos that challenges their friendships — and whether they can stay alive.

A group of 80 people are ripped out of their daily lives, and all re-appear in an undisclosed location. These people are from all walks of life: young and old, athletic and disabled, white-collared and homeless. The rules to a race boom in their heads, in their own voices and languages, laying out what will become a horrific race of terror: “If you are lapped twice, you die. If you step off the path, you die. If you touch the grass, you will die. Race…or die.”

A zombie puppet musical! An apartment building populated by puppet tenants and their human superintendent, Bob, is taken over by zombies when Bob decides to go on vacation. Dr. Zoltar, the local mad scientist and ne’er-do-well, uses the opportunity to unleash one of his diabolical plans to take over the world, but the plan to raise an army of the dead goes awry, and soon the denizens of Misfit Heights are neck-deep in flesh-craving zombies! In the aftermath of the apocalypse where society has grown accustomed to the fact that the undead only attack when provoked, it is a felony to shoot a zombie in the United States of America. Hordes of harmless corpses roam the streets like cattle. The state has built reserves to keep them contained, but there are too many of them and they’re growing everyday because even if you die of natural causes, still…you become one of them.

Clay Marshall struggles with this reality as he watches his sister, Mia, fail to accept the death of her boyfriend. She visits the wandering corpse of her lost lover constantly and acts as if he’s still alive.
