Joseph Scrimshaw is a comedian and writer. He's brought his "geek flavored" comedy to w00tstock, the San Francisco SketchFest, Chicago Improv Festival, Jonathan Coulton’s JoCoCruise, Harmontown, and more.

Scrimshaw has written for Screen Junkies, RiffTrax, Legendary Entertainment, the public radio show Wits (where he wrote sketches for Paul F. Tompkins, Andy Richter, Tim Meadows, Dave Foley, and more), and the episodes "Death by Fire", "The Smart Thing", and "Restraint" for the Feral Audio podcast Getting On with James Urbaniak. His double album, Flaw Fest, features one album of comedy and another of songs inspired by the comedy by The Doubleclicks, Molly Lewis, and more.

Scrimshaw has a comedy podcast about liking things a little too much called Obsessed with Joseph Scrimshaw. The podcast is part of Feral Audio and has been featured multiple times on iTunes as “New & Noteworthy” and a “Staff Favorite” in comedy. Scrimshaw also runs the multi-show podcast feed, ForceCenter with Ken Napzok and Jennifer Landa.
