Ona Grauer

Ona Grauer is an exotic beauty with a range as an actress as diverse and interesting as her heritage. Born in Mexico of Hungarian/German/Norwegian descent, Ona was raised in the small town of Nelson, BC. After high school her and her sister packed up and traveled around the United States, eventually settling in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It was there that Ona took her first acting class, taught by John Dunsworth of Trailer Park Boys fame. Ona soon discovered she had a natural talent and passion for acting so she returned to Vancouver to work in film and television. Her first big break came with a role on the FOX TV series Sliders. It’s no wonder that this rare beauty was an instant success. Ona was quickly cast to appear in numerous television series including The L Word, Godiva's, Stargate Atlantis, Intelligence, Fringe, and Smallville. She was a series lead on the CHUM series The Collector and had a co-starring role on Warner Bros.' epic series Black Sash. Ona is well known in sci-fi circles for her role as the first member of the Ancient race on the hit series Stargate SG-1. Recently Ona has illuminated the small screen with guest star appearances in the hugely popular CTV series Flashpoint and the ABC sci-fi thriller V opposite Scott Wolf. She had a leading role in the CTV crime drama The Bridge and a recurring role in The CW’s Cult. Ona also lends her voice to the recurring character of Katya Kazanova in the animated action comedy Archer on FX.

Ona's film credits are just as impressive as her TV series accolades. She has worked opposite Halle Berry and Sharon Stone in the Warner Bros film Catwoman, Harrison Ford and Paul Bettany in Firewall and Hillary Duff in The Lizzie McGuire Movie. She played an ethereal Goddess alongside Uma Thurman and Rosario Dawson in the epic family adventure Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and the lead role in the cult classic horror flick House of the Dead. Up next Grauer can be seen opposite Jodie Foster and Matt Damon in sci-fi drama Elysium.
