Chris Gore is the editor and publisher of The magazine version of Film Threat was prominent in the 90s during the rise of indie film and the website continues to champion emerging voices, cover film festivals while disrupting the Hollywood establishment. Gore can be heard weekly on the Film Threat podcast and be seen on Film Threat's YouTube channel.

Gore is the author of several books including The 50 Greatest Movies Never Made (St. Martin’s Press) and The Complete DVD Book (Michael Wiese Publications). His book The Ultimate Film Festival Survival Guide (Random House) is considered the bible of the industry and is required reading at film school.

Gore is also the writer/producer of the feature comedy My Big Fat Independent Movie. He was a regular on G4TV’s Attack of the Show where he did the popular "DVDuesday" segment as well as film coverage at junkets. Gore has appeared as a film expert on MSNBC, E!, CNN, Reelz Channel, and has also hosted shows on FX, Starz, IFC, and G4TV.
