Walk of Fame

The real friends of the space voyager are the stars.

We invite all who have made the voyage to Dragon Con to visit the Walk of Fame, where you can meet your favorite stars!

Dragon Con attendees have the opportunity to meet their favorite celebrities, get autographs, photo opportunities, and attend amazing panels over the course of five fantastic days.

The Walk of Fame offers opportunity for fans to get upclose and personal with all of their favorites from television, movies, and pop culture.

Dragon Con Walk of Fame

The main Walk of Fame floor, located in the Marquis Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis, hosts many of our media guests, and fans are able to meet and talk to some of their favorites, and maybe even find their way to autographs and selfies. For fans who have never walked through the main Walk of Fame floor, this is the year to give it a chance. Sometimes little bits of Dragon Con magic happen when everyone least expects it. Maybe you’ll get the chance to hear guests do a dramatic reading, or holler re-enactments (or even challenges) at each other from across the aisles, or perhaps even attend an impromptu salsa dance class led by a guest. It’s a truly special place and really a lot of fun for guests, members and volunteers alike! Prices and schedules are determined by the guests and details can be found at their tables during the event.

Walk of Fame Frequently Asked Questions

We get it.  Dragon Con can be…overwhelming…in all the best ways.  If you have questions on celebrity encounters and all things autographs, we’ve got answers.

Q: How much are autographs & selfies?

A: Costs will vary as they are set by the guests and their agents. You can usually find the prices posted at their table on the Walk of Fame floor.

Q: Can I take a photo of a guest?

A: Each guest has their own level of comfort with regards to photos & selfies. If photographs are allowed, the price for the photograph will be listed at their table on the Walk of Fame floor. Otherwise, photography is not permitted on the Walk of Fame floor

Q: When can I expect the guests to be on the Walk of Fame floor?

A: The guests have no contractual obligation to be on the Walk of Fame floor at all.  Our volunteers work diligently to stay in communication with the agents for expected returns, but times are not guaranteed to be accurate.  That being said, check the Dragon Con app first. No person can be in two places at once: if they are scheduled for a panel, they will not be on the floor at that time.

Q: What and where are the breakout rooms?

A: Some guests are located off the main floor of the Walk of Fame. These breakout rooms are located one floor down from the Walk of Fame, specifically International Level rooms 1-2-3 and A-B-C. Check for signage or ask a volunteer to direct you to the appropriate room.

Q: Where do I go if I need ADA assistance on the Walk of Fame?

A: We have an ADA section with chairs available at the front of the Walk of Fame. Volunteers are available to assist you to find the location if needed.

Q: Where can I purchase photo sleeves to protect my autographs?

A: The Walk of Fame sells sleeves at our information table.  All proceeds go to the chosen Dragon Con charity that year. Look for signage or ask a volunteer to direct you to the information table.

Q: Where are the authors located?

A: Authors Signings are located in the Westin Overlook on the Chastain level (6th floor).

Q: I ran out of cash. Can I pay with a card?

A: Most guests prefer cash, however some will have a card reader at their table or have an option to purchase an autograph online through Epic/Leap. ATMs can be found on the floor as well as around the public space of the hotel, however they have been known to empty quickly and are minimally re-filled.

Q: Where can I get my autographed item authenticated?

A: We currently do not have an authentication company in the Walk of Fame.

Q: Is this where I get my photo-op that I paid for through Epic?

A: No. Professional photo-ops are pre-purchased through Epic online or in person onsite. To purchase online, find out event at https://store.epic.leapevent.tech/. Sales typically open in mid-summer. Onsite, Epic is located one floor down from the Walk of Fame floor (International level).

Q: If I pre-purchased an autograph or selfie through Epic, do I get front of line access?

A: No. While this can improve line speed and is a good option for when you do not have cash, it does not permit you to jump ahead in the line. Please note, not every guest will have a pre-sale option for their autographs.

Q: What if I pre-purchased an autograph or selfie through Epic, but the guest cancelled, is not on the floor, or has left the convention?

A: All pre-sales for autographs and selfies are handled through Epic/Leap. Please refer to their policy and/or contact them to address your concerns or request a refund.

Q: Is the only way to purchase autographs at each guest's table and through Epic when available?

A: No. Some guests prefer to have their autographs sold through ticketing directly with their teams.  If that is the case, look for signs reflecting this on the walk.  Our team will also be happy to direct you.  Please note, any questions regarding refunds, guest availability, etc. will need to be addressed directly to the team where tickets were purchased.
