Dragon Con is truly powered by its people. Our volunteers are the secret to our success, the magic woven throughout the fabric of the event, and our future. We are excited to be able to invest in the future of our people through our brand new “Dragon Con University” college scholarship program. A limited number of scholarships are available for the 2026-2027 academic year. Read below to see if you may qualify for consideration.

Fast Facts:

The Dragon Con scholarships are open to Dragon Con volunteers with 5 years of service (and their legal children).
Funds may be used for academic expenses only and will be sent to the school directly only after acceptance and a student ID has been received.
Funds are available for colleges, universities, and vocational/technical schools.
The maximum amount of a scholarship award is $10,000.
Applications for the 2026-2027 school year are due by May 1st. All decisions will be communicated no later than May 21st.
